But where to start? This has been something I wanted to do for the longest time.

Welcome to my first blog post. My aim for this website is to take my love for crochet and creativity to new level.
“Do not wait for everything to be perfect, then you will never do anything”
I have learned to crochet from my mother when I was 6 years old. I stopped when the teenage years hit... but the biggest problem I experienced was that I did not have access to modern, hip crochet trends and patterns.
Moving ahead 20 years later I rediscover crochet and I am blown away with the creativity of some of the crochet geniuses and I fell in love all over again.
Fast forward another 7 years
I have been wanting to do this part time for the longest time, but to be honest I have felt intimidated by it all. Being an introvert and inherently shy, the Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc left me feeling stressed out more than anything else. Seeing all the success stories made me think, "Why would anyone want to hear or see what I have to share?"
I recently started reading #DaringGreatly by #BreneBrown which was the final nail in the proverbial coffin. The decision has been made, and I started just yesterday, creating a new google account, email, Instagram and Facebook account has taken me 15minutes. Too easy. Creating this website with WIX has taken 2 hours. All that's left is YouTube.
I have decided that I will just start and continuously improve as I go along. My latest moto: Do not wait for everything to be perfect, then you will never do anything.
Projects I am currently working on:
A White C2C backdrop which I will use for videos and photos to make it look much more professional - Post to follow shortly.
A crazy multicolored table cloth for my craft area. - Post to follow shortly
A coffee inspired Gingham C2C baby blanket which will be the first item in the shop once completed - Post to follow shortly.
A pink Mosaic crochet blanket that I am designing which will also be for sale as well as the pattern. - Watch this space...
My wish for all my readers is to discover with me the joy that creating brings to all. Please join me in this journey for self development and expressing my creativity.
